Engine Combo? Cam Selection?

Hey Guys,
I'm just getting back into 5.0 Mustangs at 40. I have a 94 Cobra. just bought a new set of AFR 165cc heads. My plans are to have Moss port the Cobra intake. I have acquired a Crane cam with 220 226 duration .529 .544 lift with 1.7 rockers (cam is ground for 1.7's) 114 lsa. I will have 76mm C&L mass air, 70mm TB, 24lb injectors, 1 5/8 longtube BBKs, and the usual supporting hardware. Does this sound like a good combo? Any suggestions or advice on cams? Spec on this one sound good for combo but I have heard little about Crane and 5.0's. Thanks for any help .

Sounds like a sweet combo, but piston-to-valve clearance might be pretty tight with the amount of lift from that Crane cam.

Max lift is not really a factor in PTV clearance. Its the overlap peroiod. JFI my cam has more lift than that and I have no issues with PTV clearance. Again you should always verify to be safe.
