How Do I Know If My Rears Got The Gears?

i have a 95 mustang gt and it might have 4:10s but i have no idea..i was hoping that someone out there has a 95 gt with 4:10s and can give me a couple mph with rpm readings....

Gear Comparison

have fun use the right tranny and plug in some of your own numbers and see if anything lines up ... note that these are therotical numbers and might be off by a small amount due to wear tear and other variables... such as friction temperature and altitude...

there was a thread about this the other day....not sure but someone can tell you....you turn the wheel and count how many turns it takes to turn the drive shaft 1 revolution or something .....and then some equation.....good luck bro....do you have a lot done to the car...if its pretty much stock I highly doubt someone went as low as 4:10's but never know ....good luck and welcome

yea well i bought it with a cam,1.7 rockers,headers full exahust,short shifter,frame supporters,70mm tb,and more...

that's your reputation.

now click the scale under your name.
it will tell you how many rep points you have.
if you click someone else's scale you have the choice to leave either positive or neg. rep.

Lift the rear of the car off the ground to where you can easily see the driveshaft. Now make a reference point on the wheel/tire and on the driveshaft. Turn the wheel 1 full turn and count the # of times the driveshaft spins. If its just over 4 turns then it has 4:10's.
