Just my two cents... I see a lot of welding and silicone and hoping and wishing, etc... I learned to do it right the first time. Just go to jegs, craigslist, or summitracing and find you another intake and be done. All that other stuff is good and would help. But what happens when you're on the road and the crack decides it want's you stranded on the most busy freeway or stuck in the middle of the night???

Not being mean, I've learned alot from these guys on here a while back

now its happened to me on My 98 why wouldn't epoxy putty or JB weld work if one were to "V" out the crack from the inside out with a dremel to give adhesive some area to grab???
