New, Just Sayin Hi...
Hey, I'm new to the forums... I just picked up my '94 Cobra in CA 2 weeks ago and I love it. I just read an article saying the '94-'95 platform is a bastard child, and I can see that in what research I've done on mods... but still... I love it. Polished up it glows and it goes plenty fast for me.
I've wanted a Mustang since I was 5 (and I'm 33 now) so I sort of have the dopey grin of a man in love... I eventually want to give it a supercharger, 3.73 final, headers, and upgrade the front-end bushings (and maybe throw in a bit of bodywork here and there) I'm more than content to draw the stares, challenges (even soccer moms want to race me in their minivans!!), and feel the growl that it already has. So here's another Mustang enthusiast who finally has one he can claim as his very own! Laterz... |

And a small site still up from the previous owners... http://www.corfield.org/mustang/ I'm still working on the garage entries to get the rest of the mods into it. There's some pics, anyway... I have more, but I haven't gotten 'round to adding them on Flickr yet. Laterz... |

Nice looking ride. I like personally like the 94-95 because they were the first of the new body style. The paint looks to be in great shape for being 10+ years old. Congrats. I know what you are feeling. I have owned 5 Mustangs in my life and each one put a smile on my face.

A few more pics... up on Flickr:
http://www.flickr.com/photos/armchai...7594270110772/ We got married on Aug 12, and for our honeymoon we flew to San Francisco, bought the car and drive it to Portland, then home via Boise, SLC, Cheyenne and Des Moines, finally getting back to Minneapolis 7 days and 4000 miles later. I had to get an oil change a week and a half after the previous one just because we put that many miles on it coming home. It was an awesome trip, and other than very nearly overheating in the mountains (note: HP pulley kits and air conditioning don't mix well in high altitudes), the car fared better than the two of us. We had a couple of 1k mile days, and for all but 3 nights we stayed with friends or family along the way. Driving this car is pure joy... I can easily keep it at the speed limit and yet it kicks up it's heels and charges when I downshift to pass someone on the freeway. It's just like flying only cheaper! |

sorry dude, the wing stays...
You can feel the aerodynamics kick in at about 95, when the body stops bucking over every bump and the wheels start bucking under the car... and it sings, too. Seriously, it whistles this beautiful tone while you're flying along. Frankly I wasn't sure I'd like the wing, but in person it looks badass and I just can't bring myself to think of pulling it. Besides, every stang out there has either no wing or a minimalist wing... this makes it look very unique. At least IMO. Laterz... J |

It was a long ride, but we had fun...
And I loved driving the car... It's the first time I've ever done oilchanges a week apart because of mileage, though... lol. 4000 miles in a week is a long drive. |

Welcome! I don't care if people call the 94-95 the bastard child that doesn't fit into a true generation.. They look great and represent an awesome transition from the fox body to the current day mustang with a touch of the classic mustangs thrown in there.
I have a 94 now and used to have a 68 you can see some subtleties in how the body is shaped to reflect the 67-68's. Enjoy the Ride |
