dont forget to put them in though. I just blew mine slap off the car yesterday and busted the windshield out form not putting in the pins. Now I got to buy another hood. It busted mine on the corners and nicked some places n the top by the scoops and all.

see the 2 spots on my hood by the headlights? The kit has 2 cotter pins, 2 plates and 2 studs. You drill a hole in the radiator support and install the studs. then mark your spot on the hood and drill the holes. then screw the plates over the holes and adjust your hood stops and stud until it comes up the hole and you can put the carter pins in. Real simple really.

i'm not a big fan of hood pins but they are most likely your best bet for your application.

Well i love hood pins.... i say ditch the stock latch system and put in them pins... and i have had forgot to put the pins in and i will tell u, if it does happen, it will only happen once... but it also makes it easier for people to mess with ur shit under the hood... ive never had that problem... dont piss ne one off.

I am putting the stock hood latch system back on my car and still using the pins.. I have my new hood ordered. Getting a cobra rr boss 4" like mine but just a bigger hood. Selling mine for $100 to help offset the cost of the RR. Gonna put the pins on it also but use the stock system as a backup.
