New
Looking for some advice
I bought my 95GT in 2001. It now has 78,000 miles on it. I have not done much to it other than cosmetic. New Hood, New front and rear bumpers and side skirts, Tail lights and paint. On the inside I gutted the interior which was two tone black and penut butter brown. Its now all black minus the dash board which i have yet to figuer out how to remove to paint it. I removed the back seat for a custom stero install. Under the hood I've added a 70mm T-Body, BBK Headers, BBK Front Cat's and American Thunder II's in the back. I understand the workings of the internal combustion motor. My Question is Would it be to much for a rokie mechanic to to do an engine rebuild? Plus I dont know jack about the computer or understand chips and all that jazz. I'm not looking for a drag strip killer. Just a killer street rod. anyone wanna lend me advice. Thanks |

get some gears 3.73s-4.10s,if your interested in nitrous a 75-100 dry shot, with 30lb inj,AFPR,MAF,and 255lph fuel pump.if your really want to tear into the engine ,heads, cam and intake would really make some HP.

Thanx for the advice. I guess what I'm looking for is a magic blue print. The more I look around and talk to people the less i can make up my mind. some say motor, others talk about heads, intake etc first

I suggest H/C/I combo and 3.73-4.10 gearing. My first mods were 3.73s and 100 shot of nitrous. this combo was fun but i turned into a nitrous crack head. I was going through 2 10lbs. bottles a week......
. I finally called it a day and went with a stroker motor.
