Rear End Swap


Ok i have a '95 5.0 automatic that used to be 6cyl. I just picked up a rear end out of a '95 GT automatic and i wanted to know if anyone had a right up on how to remove the rear end or any helpful hints before i start. thanks.

there's a wright up on it somewhere I can't seem to find it. If you get a haynes manual, I believe that tells you how to do it also.

If you wait alittle, someone might find it for you.

since you got it out, if you haven't already, might want to put some gears in there before you swap it in. Since your auto might want to go with 4.10, but the 3.73 is a more all round gears.

If i find it i'll let you know

yeah i pulled it out and im putting the new one in now i just stopped for the night and im gonna pick up with it tomorrow i think im gonna leave the stock gears for now. and thank you for looking.
