Gear ????

I've got 4:10 gears in my car now but my bike should be sold and turbos on order and i know i cant run that big of gear with the turbo, the shop making the turbo kit told me to do 3:55 at the most 3:73,What are you running?66mm turbo,and will i need an install kit for the smaller gear or can i just change the ring and pinion?

I would always buy an install kit when you but gears.

I have no personal experience but i know turbo guys in my area run high gears...like 2:73s or 3:27s...

tony is right you can use anything from 2.73s-3.55s with 4.10s you wouldnt be in the gear long enough.IMO get the install kit if your going to change gears.Im setting my car up for turbo and I installed 3.55s.Turbo cars go faster with numerically lower gears

I was thinking 3.55 also once i pull the 410 out,i didnt know if the install kits where interchangable or if you have to buy a kit depends on the gear your installing which makes since lol
