94-95 Valve Covers

Hi to all. I am new to this website/forum so forgive me if I mess this up. I am from England in the UK and have a question for all you Mustang 5.0 94-95 officianadoes!!

I am building a 94-95 5.0 engine as part of a Cobra kit car project. I got the engine block in quite a tatty condition and have spent the last few months obtaining performance parts to build it back up. For example I have bought forged internals, a tubular GT-40 upper/lower intake system, BBK/Edelbrock 70mm TB, with 70mm SVO elbow. I am keeping my eyes open for a good set of heads and I am considering the Ford Z-304's, or AFR 185's. I am also after a nice set of Ford Racing valve covers. In the Ford Performance manual it shows a number of covers which I am interested in, but they are for the 86-93 engines (Booooo!) Can anyone tell me if these can be adapted to fit the 94-95 engines (hooray!!) I have read somewhere that there are clearance issues with the upper intakes and also the breather pipe obstructs the TB? Is this the case and if so how can I get round it.

Over to you boys!!

Regards
Superarnie
