What To Do?
my name is Justin, and im new to this site i have a 95 5.0 5-speed short throw convertable and i know its heavier than a coupe, i am bout to put stock headers back on it and stock cats because i had an H-pipe with no cats and long tube headers, but it's just way to much troble going through inspection. after i do that i am goign to put flowmasters on there of course and i will be low on money, i also have K&N air filter on it too.. i was thinking about changing my gears what do you suggest i go with?

With a 5.0 go with 3.73's cause your power is more in the midrange then our modular 4.6's are.
Our topend is a little higher up then yours that is why we keep sayin 4.10's for us 4.6's. |

I have 3.73's and I fully regret not going with atleast 4.10's. I am just redlining 3rd when I go through the 1/4.

4.10 's are ok if you are not using power adders. If you add a shot of Nitrous you will be changing to 3.73 to make it through the 1/4 in 4 th.
