Huge Problem

i changed the TPS and IAC on the throttle body..i also replaced the regulator but the one i bought was bad so i put the other one bac on which was a few days ago along with the IAC but i changed the TPS today and the car idle's at 2500, and there is fuel gushing out the back..i believe its coming out of a little whole in the back of the lower intake manifold...please help!

From what you have said there is a lot of things that it can be. Did it leak before you changed the regulator? I would check all the fittings to make sure that they are fine and make sure that the regulator is seated properly. If there is fuel leaking/gushing out it isn't going to be from the intake, it will be from a fuel line.

I would say that is the problem all together.

ok..i looked at it quick and i swear it was gushing from a whole in the back of the head which doesnt make sense but i turned and ran as fast as i could to shut the car off..then had somone else start it while i looked at it real quick,( between the regulator and the part of the rail it connects to was where it was spiting out fuel from)so i told him to cut the engine ...and then i took the regulator off..isnt there supposed to be a gasket between the rail and regulator? it never leaked there before but there wasnt a gasket either when i put the new regulator on. The diapham was bad cause fuel was coming out of the vacuum fitting or w/e its called on the regulator..so i took that back and im waiting on a new one.. but put the old one back on and thats the one that leaked between the rail and regulator.i also have some vacuum leak i think cause when i start the car it sits at 3000 and then the vacuum line that sits in the front, on the upper maifold(by the neck of the upper) that goes to the back was off (dont know how but i think my friend pulled that off on accident)but it goes to the fitting on the back of the lower manifold right? cause that made it idle a little lower but its still idling way to high...

The fuel could be spraying out between the regulator and the fuel rail. Did you check if the rubber o-rings are in place and seated properly? If that's not where it's coming from when you have the BBK regulator in place, the fuel will be coming from the gauge port at the back. Did you use the threaded plug that came with the regulator? My BBK leaked slowly from the gauge port even after I'd threaded in the plug but I cured it by applying thread lock/sealant.

no i definately put the guage port plug in but thats not the regulator thats leaking the other one was that was on there is..the bbk had a bad diaphram, it leaked through the vacuum line port so i sent it back and im waiting on the new one...the other one was an aeromotive or somthing like that i think and it was going bad..it droped pressure and i pinched the return line and brought the pressure back up so it was driveable..do you have a holly manifold? cause i think i got a vacuum leak cause its wont idle..it sits at like 2500..there was a hose off and i think i put it back where it goes but i have a holly upper and lower, and im not sure if the other ones are the same vacuum lines

With the idle at 2500rpm, you definitely have a vacuum leak. The question is where from? The answer is to check every hose that's connected to the intake manifold, including the hose from intake pipe to valve cover. You may also have a leak from one of the gaskets between the lower manifold and heads, or between the upper and lower manifolds.
I still have the stock manifold but I ported both the upper and lower and have an FRPP 1/2" phenolic spacer sandwiched in between.

its definately leaks between the regulator and rail, thats for sure but the first time i looked i swear it looked like it was gushing from a hole in the back(as if it were a regular hose shooting water when you open the valve on the wall all the way with no attachment on the end of the hose [you get what i mean?] )but as soon as i saw fuel I RAN to turn my car off and had somone else start it real fast..i also know that its all on the passenger side cause no fuel leaked down onto the driver side of the bellhousing..howcome it only happens when the engine is on? not when i turn the key to the on position ..i kno when i put (the bad) bbk regulator on, wen i started and jus turned the key to the on position it shot fuel out the vacuum tube it(bad diaphram)one of the 2 screws that hold the regulator into the rail i think i striped when i riped the bbk one off and tightened the old one back on.cause when i took that one off again one screw had that a little piece of aluminum in the threads .. thats the one spraying between the regulator and rail though but does that mean i need a new rail? or can i retap the rail? and i knew there was a vacuum leak..i had a friend stop by and was jus seeing what i was doing and he must have taken this hose off, it starts off in the front of the(holly systemax) upper intake right next to the elbow..the one in front..(with three little ones on the back side)...i looked in the back to find where it goes and i think i put it back in the right spot its a little vacuum spout in the back of lower manifold. and the hose from the air intake to valve cover is on..should i have metal connectors or zip ties on all the ends of vacuum hoses to?
