Hey, i just bought my first mustang, its a 1994. Black, black convert top, and black leather int. Its a 5 speed, has about 108,000 miles on it, and is bone stock besides an h pipe exhaust, and a trim kit. Im the third owner, and both owners took pretty good care of the car. I got it for 3 grand which i though was a steal. It does have some problems, and im hoping some of you guys might be able to give me some pointers.

Ok, the drivers seat is power, and it dosnt work, the harness is not connected, and theres something else wrong with it, thats why its not connected, i didnt get to look at it yet, so the seat dosnt work. That leads to the next probl.

The tach dosnt work correctly, it just kinda does whatever it wants. The trip odometer also dosnt work. So i was thinking, maybe since that harness for the seat isint connected, could that have something to do with the tach and trip odometer?

Ok well hopefully someone here can maybe give me some pointers, thanks.

I'll bet this is the problem with your seat...

Defect Summary: THE WIRE HARNESS ON THESE SEATS IS BANDED TO THE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SUPPORTS. THE END OF ONE OF THE SUPPORTS CAN PUNCTURE THE HARNESS, RESULTING IN A HIGH RESISTANCE ELECTRICAL SHORT.

Consequence Summary: OVERHEATING CAN RESULT, AND MELTING, SMOKE AND POSSIBLE IGNITION OF THE SURROUNDING MATERIALS CAN OCCUR.

Corrective Summary: DEALERS WILL REMOVE THE TIE STRAP FROM EACH OF THE FRONT SEATS.
