Ebay short throw shifters

I was looking at these online eBay Motors: RACING SHORT SHIFTER 83-03 FORD MUSTANG 85 87 94 99 00 (item 150229784387 end time Apr-01-08 18:38:38 PDT)
and was wondering since they are so cheap are they even worth it?

Heh mine broke in half. there is a cheap one that is well made...its called a ROLEX. Very smooth nice feel. check for it on ebay. But steeda tri ax and pro 5.0 are what your most likely gonna hear from everyone else.

I think this is the Roll-X thing you're talking about:
eBay Motors: Mustang Short Throw Shifter T5 - T45 - Billet - CNC (item 200211742586 end time Apr-04-08 18:36:13 PDT)

You get what you pay for. I thought I was smart by buying that cheap one first...then I ended up breaking it beyond repair and had to buy another shifter...do it right the first time and dont look back.

That really does look like plastic. I'd go with the Tri-ax as well.
