95 mustang GT With procharger

Hi, I just bought a 95 mustang GT with a procharger p600b running 10 psi intercooled, bbk headers, p&p Typhoon intake, Ford racing Roller rockers, Dual exhaust with flowmasters and H pipe, 3.73 rear gears, and a Detroit locker. I was told the shortblock was forged but I don't know for sure. I was also told it makes 360+ rwhp which I'm starting to doubt does that sound right? If it had 360 rwhp it should be running a mid 12's in the quarter. It seems to me to be a low to mid 13 second car in the quarter, without any major traction issues. But right now it seems to be driving through the torque converter, If you step on the gas hard from a roll the rpms rise and none of the power gets to the rear wheels for around 2 seconds and it has some problems with shifts too they are slow.Does this sound like a torque converter problem to you guys or a tranny problem? It is an AODE tranny, with a shift kit I was told. I want to make this a mid 12 second car. Would the new ford racing aluminum gt40 heads be enough to make it as long as I took car of the tranny problem? Sorry for all the questions but this is my first ford. Thanks

if i were you i would start by switching to a 5 spd transmission. that would improve your 1/4 mile time if you can drive good. and the gt40 heads are decent but with your setup i would recommend some afr 185's or twisted wedge heads.

if your running 10lbs from a supercharger with no aftermarket heads..i dont believe thats very safe..the stock heads have alot of restriction..i would definitely buy new heads and have them machined, and i would have the intake machined as well..new rockers springs and valves and that will make a significant increase

I like manuals but I already have 86 t5 camaro with a built 355, so I think I'm going to stick with an auto with this one. I'm looking at getting the AODE rebuilt, getting a b&m shift kit, a b&m 2800 rpm converter, and a b&m hammer shifter. I've been looking over all the heads and It looks like they all require the pistons to be clearenced. So I think I'm going to go with the ford racing x303 GT 40 heads. they flow 240 cfm at 0.550 and everything else I have will bolt up to them. After I give them a light p&p, I think that with these mods I should be able to reach a mid 12 second quarter mile. Does anyone have cam recommendations? I'm looking at a Comp Cams XE270HR, what do you think?

afr 185s dont require any piston modifications. neither do edelbrock performers, theyre good supercharger heads. with your setup already being nice and putting out good power, i would get something like those vs the gt40's. yea theyre cheap but you kind get what you pay for. theyre alright but you will be much happier with the afr's or something similar. and everything you have will bolt up to them as well.
