Stage 1 Easy bolt-ons

Cold air intake, Larger MAF, Larger throttle body, Headers, Midpipe, Catbacks, Underdrive pulleys, Higher flow fuel pump, Adjustable fuel pressure regulator, Rear differential gear (multiplies torque to wheels), Aluminium driveshaft (more HP to wheels), Shift kit (automatic, more HP to wheels)

Stage 2

Heads, Cam, Intake manifold, Roller Rockers, Larger injectors, Computer tune

Stage 3

Stroker 331 or 347ci, Supercharger, Twin Turbochargers, Nitrous Oxide

Don't forget upgrades to suspension, brakes, and chassis (subframe connectors) to handle the extra power.
Decide what you can afford and go from there.

Best bang for the buck mods to start with are ring and pinion gear- 3.73 to 4.10 and some underdrive pulleys. IHMO best seat of the pants mods.

He means upper and lower intake manifold, and the letters represent the Ford Racing E303, B303, and F303 camshafts.

I doubt you'd feel a SOTP difference with the pulleys but they certainly deliver very good bang for the buck (e.g. ~5rwhp from an ASP underdrive crank pulley costing only $39 at Summit Racing).

Absolutely no doubt about that especially if you have an AODE equipped GT with a 2.73:1 r&p. For me, the Ford Racing 3.73:1 r&p was the best money that I spent on my Stang. Probably the first performance mod anyone should consider.

i agree somewhat deffinitly do what you can afford but if you plan on building the bottom end or stroking wait until you get the money to get the block done before you do H/C/I etc. mainly because it is just a waist of time, gaskets and money...

but suspension and exhaust is always a good way to start!
