building block...i have a kenne bell blowzilla supercharger on the list and i think i want a trick flow top end... would anyone recommend anything else? is it a better route to go with gt40 upper and lower with the KB?? but my original question... i'm probably going to have internals replaced, so should i just buy a newer block or build the one i have? any opinions are appreciated.

forging your internals is a waste of time in my opinion! why do that because you can get cheaper rods and crank that will handle more power than the stock block will hold...
if you want to put that much out at the wheels and have no worries about splitting the block you might look into a nice after market block or building yourself a 351, which can both handle a significantly higher amount of power, 351 would be cheaper just a suggestion... thats what i would do ![]() Dart 31384185 - Dart SB-Ford Iron Blocks - JEGS boss block: Ford Racing M6010BOSS302 - Ford Racing Boss 302 Engine Blocks - summitracing.com and i believe if your use a roots type blower "kenne bell" you would use the intake from the company designed to work with the s/c

Think long and hard about what you're getting into. Gas prices aren't getting any lower and if this is your DD you'll be ass raped by them. Give Woody at FordStrokers.com 331-347-393-408-418-427 stroker kits and ford parts. a call and he can build you something to fit your needs. I bought my 347 from him, great guy to deal with.
