they are slow as hell in stock form but just like any 5 liter can be made fast for cheap.

I've done a few of those too (listed in my garage) and my Stang is 2secs and 12mph faster than stock for not a lot of money. |

2005 Ford Escape Performance
153 HP SAE @ 5,800 rpm; 152 ft lb @ 4,250 rpm 1995 Ford Mustang Performance 215 HP @ 4,200 rpm 285 ft lb @ 3,400 rpm 64 HP more and 133 ft lb of tq is your advantage and you lost? You would think after 9 fox, you'll should stop being a pu$$y and learn to drive. No disrespect intended here: but maybe you should ask your wife to teach you how to drive

.Just think of the 95 vert as an overweight regular 5.0. Same mods will get you similar results. Common sense would dictate that gears/traction are things that you need to improve on if your dragging it.

No disrespect to you at all...all I was saying is these 5.0 can be a lot of fun.
Just to touch a little on the "advice on problems". You asked " what's up with you getting beat by a 05 escape."There are to many variables on the street and anything can happen but there is no way for us to diagnose a problem on your car without more info.... ![]() But in all seriousness,a car can be a different beast in the hands of a good driver

We're just messing with you man, I had a 94 GT Vert too, it was not the best stock, but with some work, it can be real fast.
Since it's a very, you might want to start with some rear control arms, and like everyone said gears But first, let me know what are you plans for the car, so you can get the best advise. You're at the right place if you are looking to mods.

sn95 cars are very heavy to begin with. but the 5.0 is a great motor and as you should know responds very well to mods. if you think there is a problem with the car... try and give us some more info on what happens when you drive it (i.e. no throttle response, sputtering, dogging, etc...). but make sure you check out some of the threads on this page and it might help you out... like this one - Lookin for more HP
there is some great info in this thread... be sure to read through. good luck man!
