I am testing a theory with my spark plug gap now. I lowered the gap to .045 and am hoping to get a little better mpg. Seems to have more power, if I want/need it and better response. I am working on an idle issue currently as it is staying around 1000 rpm when I come to a stop. I think it has to do with my TB adjustment and or the idle sensor on it. I am having problems with the how to for setting base idle though. When I try to start the car without the sensor plugged in it will not stay running. I don't believe that my idle is that far off I think that there has to be something I am missing or not doing... Please post any suggestions to help me remedy this issue.

get yourself a new IAC - Idle Air Control... it will solve your problem of your revs staying to high.

pretty cool about your spark plug gap... let us know how it goes

I am thinking IAC myself, but I am going to try to adjust it out before I go out and buy a new one. Thanks for the advice though. I am going to try to get it properly adjusted with a digital volt meter. I have never really took the time to adjust hing since I got my new TB.
