3.73 fine or would i need to get 4.10s ive seen on another forum a shop in sa installing fm gears for $420 gears lube labor etc included. ebay a sniper wet kit 50-75-150 shot for around 300 should leave me extra dough for a cai ignition tune up and maybe a new set of tires in the rear there only 9 inch wide but any traction helps. tractions horrible on my stang

well, traction will become more of an issue with gears and no2 obviously, as for your question,. im not quite sure what you are asking for... i debated this gear thing when i had my 99, and do to the stock 3.27 ratio i opted out of the 3.73s and went with 3.90's.

so i will recommend 3.90-4.10s

373's are a little bit more suitable for fox bodies due to their stock 3.08s

A stock '03 GT will do 14.0-14.2 so I'm sure that one is probably in the high 13's and you're gonna have your work cut out to beat it. With all the mods I've done to my auto V8 I've only just scraped into the 13's (with full weight though) so you're either going to need at least as many mods as I have, or add a nitrous kit to help you along. Even then, you'll need to hope that the other driver doesn't get a good launch or messes up a shift.
