more on the creme puff

little 95 still has original wires, plugs, rotor and cap, its got 105k miles now, should i change all these or go with the "IF ITS NOT BROKE DONT FIX IT" thing, runs and drives great now, just STOCK power, Im needing more, and how do you clean MAF ?? saw alot saying to clean that.?? wanting more power, as i said before its BONE stock down to air filter, i did put a kandn in it and lost 2 mpg. im thinking of putting ford racing wires, cap and rotor and new plugs and bumping timing up some. What yall think???

Yes, give it a good tune up. Put autolite 25's in there, gap them around .052 and change your cap and rotor while you're at it. Won't hurt to go with some FMS wires, you can get them from summit for around 42 bucks. I've got my timing set at 10*, run 93 octane with 3.73's and I'm getting 27mph on the hwy. You shouldn't have lost mpg with the K&N(at least I didn't) I'd also change out the 02 sensors, coolant temp sensor, and air charge temp sensor. You can find the 02's the cheapest at Auto Parts Fast at RockAuto the denso's sell for around 33 bucks a piece. Finally the balancer, if there is rubber coming out of it...change it. It's only a matter of time before it breaks and you don't want that to happen driving down the road.

taylor also makes great wires..i would use platinum +2 spark plugs, they're nice and you dont have to gap them.you shouldnt have lost mileage with a air filter but anyways i would change all your fluids as well and you should run royal purple motor oil..its amazing stuff..you want more power, or do u just wanna get moving alot faster??lol i would go for gears like flamestang said..3.73 are nice, thats what i got but i wish i would have went for 4.10..there is a very small difference in gas mileage..like 2 maybe 3 mpg..

Yeah just do it all and you should be set for a while. Dont let the balancer go out and not even a Master ASE tech not know whats wrong. It will cause all sorts of problems i can't even begin. You will just be chasing a greased up PIG and you'll never catch it.

Get the Motorcraft parts if you can they just always seem to run better and there only a few dollars more.

Skip the FMS wires, the resistance is way up there, MSD or Taylor
