What's correct amount of ATF
Hi.
Can anyone clarify to me what's correct amount of ATF in 95 GT equiped with AOD-E tranny. With / without (std.) torgue converter. It's so darn hard to see it in a dipstick when there's a new oils in it. And if you drain your TC also what's the correct procedure to refill the whole tranny? |

Did you drain the TC? In my opinion it's best to do it all at once. If you didn't empty it and you just drained the pan and changed the filter you're only going to add 4 qts. If you drained the TC too you'll end up filling it with 12.5 qts. With the car in park and the e-brake on run the car at a fast idle but don't race it. Move the shifter through all the gears a few times and back to park.
