Subframes and Control Arms


Where is the best place to get these? reasonably priced...is the install difficult? The subframes are weld in correct? I cant put my power down on the track...and im getting sticky tires and i needed some suspension mods...is there anything else i can do?

get the full length square subframe connectors and some people bolt them in but definitely weld them like u said..i got my control arms from UPR..doing those two things will make a huge improvement..stiffer springs will help to

which is better upper or lower control arms or both ??

Fully welded in connectors are the way to go, square tube with support braces seem to work best and offer the least flex. I've always made mine, if you can weld and use a torch, it's the cheaper route. And try moving your battery to the trunk...helps with the weight transfer.

Best to replace/upgrade them as a set. That way you KNOW what shape their in.

You really only need lower control arms unless you're really tuning the suspension... you need that little bit of flex they offer, if you go with an U/L adjustable ok, but even then, you need to know how to tune the suspension to get the most out of it... check out UMI's control arms for the Mustang... they got a lot for the GN, but they make GREAT products...
agree with everyone else on the SFC Full length square with corss braces. Maximum motorsports sells a good set
