95' gt upgrades
i have a 95' gt i am working on. so far i have a cai, full exhuast. next i plan on 3.73 gears, trickflow top end kit, throttle body, udp's and msd ignition. does that sound like a good setup? should i upgrade anything else? and what do i do about tuning it with all of the new parts? i appreciate any info you can give me.

do you have a 5spd? or auto? go 4.10s if you got a auto you should start upgradeing your fuel system too. start with injectors id say about a 30 if your getin heads cam intake

i plan on installing sub connectors and contol arms as well. but with the heads cam and intake you think the stock injectors will be able to keep up? also what kind of pressure should i set the regulator at? i have about 8k$ to put into the car for now so im trying to go the best route with it. thanks for the info and if you have any other tips im all ears.

70mm TB (75mm also good) TFS throttle body elbow 76mm MAF 24lb injectors (keep stock regulator) Higher-flow fuel pump (190lph is good) Computer reprogramming (Tweecer RT best value for money)0 Since you have a manual tranny, stick with the 3.73 gear but add the following to help get the power down: Welded-on subframe connectors Upgrade rear lower control arms (I recommend Maximum Motorsports) You can add more handling upgrades as your budget allows.

if your getting 24# injectors, get it calibrated for 24's.

24# injectors are good to 350hp, i doubt you'll be above that with a top end kit... UMI Performance Inc. also makes good suspension components... don't let the GN on the home page scare you away. my setup...
MMR tubular K-member, Tubular A-arms, front coilovers(175lb springs), Maximum motorsports full length subframes with cross braces, UMI(I also like racecraft) Lower control arms. leave the stock uppers, with a stiffer lower, you'll need the deflection. Eibach drag springs, solid suspension set up. can't do anything without a solid suspension... I've got 3.90 gears in mine.(95 5spd GT) puts me in my power band at the perfect time. course all that is setup for drag racing... |

What are you ultimate goals for the car?
For instance, if you plan on going forced induction down the road, get the injectors, fuel pump and MAF now that will take you there. There's no need to waste money on parts that will need changing again in the future. Keep in mind that you don't want to be doing things twice. I learned the hard way
