cam question
will a cam with 512 lift and 280 duration fit in a 5.0 without flycutting the pistons? its a comp cams magnum hydralic flat tappet

don't quote me on this, but i don't see why not. but man, PLEASE do not spend that much much money on a Comp Cam. For that kind of money you can get a custom grind cam that you know will work specifically for your application. with that turbo, you would do best with a blower specific cam. Check out Anderson Ford Motorsports - they will grind a cam to whatever specs you want for $300. Anderson Ford Motorsport Home Page

well that comes with the whole kit lifters timing chain and gear...everything is that a bad price for all that? but now that you said that about the custom grind i might go with that

ok, comp cams are good cams, don't get me wrong, i've used one. but i wouldn't venture to say that they are better quality than a cam you can get from Jay or AFM. You really can't get much better than that.
