will a cam with 512 lift and 280 duration fit in a 5.0 without flycutting the pistons? its a comp cams magnum hydralic flat tappet

don't quote me on this, but i don't see why not. but man, PLEASE do not spend that much much money on a Comp Cam. For that kind of money you can get a custom grind cam that you know will work specifically for your application. with that turbo, you would do best with a blower specific cam. Check out Anderson Ford Motorsports - they will grind a cam to whatever specs you want for $300. Anderson Ford Motorsport Home Page

well that comes with the whole kit lifters timing chain and gear...everything is that a bad price for all that? but now that you said that about the custom grind i might go with that

in your sig it says you already have an F303 cam , worthless upgrade IMO , especially if you have the F cam already , save up for a rebuild and valvespring upgrade is the only real gain you would see which wont be much with your current setup unless you are running alot of nitrous or 12 or more lbs of boost

ok, comp cams are good cams, don't get me wrong, i've used one. but i wouldn't venture to say that they are better quality than a cam you can get from Jay or AFM. You really can't get much better than that.
