Cobra Package
Hey all,
I just started my research but thought I'd throw it up here?. Is there such a thing as a package that includes all the engine parts to make a 95 GT into a cobra, I know trick sells kits with H/C/I's but is there a company out there that sells a cobra kit, I was thinking when I do rebuild my motor.. of doing a cobra motor clone?. I was reading the package that ford sold with the GT40 heads.. added a bunch of power? totaling like 290 I think that would be more then I need.. ??? Just curious ![]() Thanks in advance.. Don |

Trick Flow advertise 350hp/370lbft (flywheel) for their Street Burner top end kit and 360hp/350lbft for their Track Heat kit.
Ford Racing advertise 290hp (flywheel) for their package of GT40Y aluminium heads, GT40 intake, 65mm TB, shorty headers, and 1.7 roller rockers.

the ford parts are a great budget build...nothing wrong with them...great perfromance for the money spent..there was a thread about a week or so ago in the 5.0 section and all the guys were dumping what they know about adding performance parts.and a few of the guys were talking about which years explorers to take the parts off of. it was good stuff..try looking for it...

.. Right now.. its about $50 to fill the tank and thatlast me 4 days give or take.. SO I would like A few more ponies, but without saficieng to much gas mileage, I not overly concerned about it.. but I don't want 5 MPG either..So I was thinking .. around 250-300 at the crank would be decent.. So i thought all cobra equipment would get me that number.. and not cost me an arm and a leg either.? LOL, Funny thing is .. a have a bud with a 08 CS that wants me to race him at the track.. Stock vs stock how bad do ya think he would beat me? DOn |
