cobra brake upgrade
so im seriously considering the cobra brake upgrade for the front, but is it just a srtaight swap? like what is else is neede other than the Calipers, rotors, pads, and hose?

you need to get the cobra caliper bracket too. get all your parts from Napa. They've got the best prices on that stuff.

i searched NAPA and their was no bracket thing. does it come with the caliper?

yes i believe it does from napa. just make sure you ask them before you buy. forgot to mention... make sure you also get the brake hardware kit for the front/rear as well. but you probably already knew that.

no not yet, i looked into it, but decided i liked "going" faster than "stopping" faster!

Make sure you flush out your brake fluid and replace it with something with a higher boiling point. I use AP 550 since it can be used on street and race cars. https://www.ogracing.com/catalog/2-C...00-BRAKE-FLUID
Your brakes start to fade or feel mushy because the fluid is starting to boil. Use better pads too. Have you considered upgrading to a Wilwood setup? You'd be happier with that if you like stopping on dimes. |

You don't have to do anything to the rear brakes. You'll need cobra rotors, calipers, caliper brackets, lines, and pads. It's a pretty simple swap and much cheaper than buying from online stores.
