cam for my new 331

I just ordered my 331 stroker at 9.5 comp aluminum heads 175cc ive got 2 responses from comp cams 35-310-8 and 35-552-8 as a good cams for my application. I noticed that they are real close to a ford racing 303f and a 303x cam whoud you go comp or ford racing? this motor will have a dyno tuned chip after i get it together . it was a 94 cobra motor Pat

I had an alphabet cam in my 92lx years ago but I had jay allen grind me a cam for my 347 stroker build...havent used it yet but he was highly recommended by a lot of people and the guy that basically designed my motor....flamedstang is running basically the same setup a 347 with one of jays cam and is pleased...custom grind I do know is better cause the take all of the variables into consideration when grinding it to match it specifically to your car and get the most out of it...and his prices are not much higher than buying an off the shelf stick.....you are building a stroker with a cam and you are worried about hiding the Nitrous bottle? haha you dont think they are gonna hear that when you pull up huh?

Alphabet cams are old technology... if the guys at comp reccomended those particular cams then they are decent for your application.. they arent gona just tell you some bullshit....You might wanna get some other reccomendations by calling Anderson, or Jay will use his cam doctor to make a cam sugestion for a minimal fee I believe... I am running a jay allen hyd. roller and I am very happy...
