this may be a stupid Q but can you (HMUSN) school me on the hole SCT thing. is it like a tweecer, flash tuner, or something i'd still have to take to a tuner pro.i mean i'm not the dumbest guy but i didn't think 5.0s had flash tuners....

so yea.. my tuner doesn't have 5.0 software. so you can't can not a tune from him.

but i am half decent on the knowledge part.

basically with a tuner you can retune your car per mod.... every time you mod with a chip you have to send it in to get reburned.

let me know what kind of questions you have..i can most likley answer them.

i was looking into a JET chip.. would you reccomend getting one of those HMUSN? if not what is a better deal?

If you elect to go with a jet chip versus a performance tuner, you will have to either remove the dashboard or go underneath the hood to swap out the chip. Not so with a performance tuner as all you have to do is plug the tuner into your car’s under dash diagnostic connector, answer some simple yes/no questions, and before you know it you’re engine is super tuned.
but since you are obd1 i don't think they make tuners for your car.
a JET chip is not a bad chip at all.
but i would rather go with a 4bank chip like this one.
