last night the stang fell

last night was installing my lowering springs on my front end of my supercharged 98 gt and we finished and we were on our test drive. well when we were done my buddy revved up my car and at 4 grand i threw a rod. f'in pissed as i was i was calm about it but its freaking christmas.

anyway do you guys know of any good race built engines that will match up exactly where the stock motor does?

Well first of all Welcome to MM! lol and that sucks! anyway what are you looking on spending? and if it where me I would just rebuild the engine you have with new pistons and cams and heads since its S/C you might want to keep the same motor because if you get a diff motor you couldnt reuse the S/C.

vt makes some pretty nasty engines, pricey though. me, id just get a 99+ motor, rebuild it the way you want and roll with that
