Clean the MAF, have you done any mods? Do you have a K&N filter?

yep, the kit is about $20 at Auto Zone.

Definitely clean everything with the air system.

well the lag can be caused by numerious things. like the MAF or the injectors or fuel pump, fuel filter, spark plugs, or wires, just a lot of things could cause it. so insted of guessing and buying new parts just take it to a dealer and ask them to do a dignostics on it to pin point what excatly it is... but 1st check easy things like the MAF wich you could just go buy some electral cleaner and spray on it. just make sure not to tuch the little wires. removal is not nessary, just take the air box and filter off. hope this helps. good luck
