ok decsion time, need some input

while im doing other stuff my brother offered to get me a new set of mufflers and my mom wants to get me another part for christmas so i need some advice

1. brother said either loudmouth1's or 2's or flowmasters, what do you all think? so far all i got exhaust wise is an xpipe with highflow cats

2. PI intake or PI cams first? i can get one now and the other later, which one will help me the most up front

heres what i have done for now
3:73 gears, CAI, Xpipe

I'm not a fan of loudmouths. To me the LM's were designed to sound like shit ha. They are just LOUD. No tone or sound. JUST FRIGGIN' LOUD. I have Flow's Original 40 Series on my GT. I like them. The drone isn't that bad in my opinion. I would take any muffler over loudmouths.

Let your mom get you headers, then you will be done with the exhaust. I like the magna pack sound best.

i love the slp loudmouth

it's a tough one to call, sound and a little hp and tq

or

more hp and tq

go with cam, then intake then later get an exhaust system.

What i bassicly am looking for is will the cam or intake provide the most right now. as for the headers i wish, but thats a hair outa range. Intake or pi cams can be had for fairly cheap

ok, so does it really have a difference between the two? Ive heard the intake is almost unoticable by itself except for throttle response. Ive heard the cams give you more power through the entire range while the intake is all up high. and finnaly ive heard the Pi cams are useless without the intake.

The intake is noticeable through all rpms, but it REALLY is noticeable at higher RPMS, and the cams are NOT useless with out the intake.. But you get more gains with both.

im not arguing the fact that both are what i need its just at the moment i can get either one, so im trying to figure out what will be the most benificial to my setup as of now.as to the mufflers its just he really wants to get me a set of mufflers, and he is set on flowmasters due to the fact he can get em for 60bucks through his shop.

I have spl LM1's and I like them but I don get the deep sound like I had with the flowmasters before I put the slp's on...I would say go with flowmasters cheaper and get just as good of a sound just not as loud...

hmm i think i'd get the exhaust and the intake first... then get the cams later.. the intake should give you noticeable gains by itself alone.. then get the cams later, get em degreed and you're pretty good... as for exhaust, altho i like loud... i think the SLP's are a lil obnoxious for my own taste... i mean i prefer deeper tone to the sheer loudness of the slps.. but it really is all on you, depends on what you want from the exhaust... you already have an x with high flows.. thats already a good gain... with a more freely flowing catback it should be pretty good either way, i'd say go with the flows.

Well whatever you end up doing, its going to be good anyways. Whether SLP or Flowmaster, or the Cams or Intake, its all going to be beneficial to your stang.

Yeah I enjoy my Flowmasters, most of the cars I've seen with SLP are real loud, but as with any exhaust, if you keep cats on it, then it will be quieter, I'm switching over to magnaflow, and hopefully quiet it down a little. PI Cams with the npi manifold and npi heads were nice, but definitely got more from my aftermarket cams.

ok im going the cams and flows. right now its the best for my budget, near the first of the year im getting money back from school so the intake is more likley to happen. i was afraid the cams would hurt the NPI intake or something.

thanks for all the help
