PI intake mani, and injector size

so im helping my father inlaw with a PI aluminum intake mani swap on his NPI car. now he is running an 85mm MAS and a 75mm TB, with a decent cat back, and cold air. my question is, would it be ok to swap over to the 24lb injectors? i know the 19's are probably sufficent, but his are in dire need of replacement. will we have to upgrade the fuel pump, and put on an A/F controller. Im trying to talk him into some cams, but we will see. i know its not that big of an air increase for that big of injector. any thoughts on the injectors size?

don't swap out the injectors unless you have an xcal to tune them.

the computer won't see them and you will run rich.

also if he already has his 85mm maf tuned for the stock injectors he'll have to get it retuned for the 24lbs.

well, the car had the 85mm maf before he got it. it looked like someone had done a few things to it before, it had a little A/F tunner under the dash, with only a rotary knob, and home made intake piping, it looked to me like it had a vortec sc hooked up to it at one point in time.

so basically to swap over to the 24lb injectors we need to get the MAF sensor for or current one tuned for the 24lb injectors?
