Keep the high flow cats. But if you ditch them. I'll take them

I thought the power difference between high flow cats and no cats was negligible. If it's that way, why wouldn't you have them? I mean, why drive illegal and have worse emissions for no gains?

Because it sounds AMAZING and cats are expensive.

MIL eliminators will get you passed the emissions test but where you will get screwed is the visual. Maybe if you hollow out your cats or just make it look like it has cats on.

Then get 2 glasspacks dumped before the axle everyone of your neighbors will love you.

i'd def keep them, just in case. The gains of removing them are so small that its not important. You should also consider about gettin screwed by a visual or even the sniffer test if they use that there.

Even if there is a half a horse power gain it usually sounds better and even if he has the cats he can sell them therefore pretty much getting a bonus for taking them off. Especially with Flows, they are quiet with cats.

MIL eliminators will trick your rear o2 sensors to think that the cats are working. Most places that do emissions just plug a diagnostic tool into your OBD-II port on OBD-II cars and no codes come up because the MIL eliminators are in place and no error codes = a pass until they look under the car and don't see any cats.

Well then I'd definitely take the cats off and sell them. Make some money, it'll sound better, may gain 1hp, save weight, etc etc..

Yeah I don't think anyone uses the sniffer on OBD-II cars.

rear o2 sensors. the fron measures air going in. the rear measures the air going out and the efficiency of the cat. I recomend the ones from Pypes they splice into the factory wires and you keep your old o2 sensors pluged in.
