Full PI head/intake swap or Find new PI motor?

Hey guys, this is my first post ever on this site, and I got some questions that will probably be the millionth time youve heard it but bear with me ..... I have a 96 GT 5sp and im wondering if doing the full PI swap would be worth it and if the compression bump hurts anything else on the motor? Also I was thinkin and it said here that it may be a better bet to try and find a full PI motor but my NPI only has about 60K so im wondering if its maybe to early to totatlly scratch my little old PI. Also does anybody know if the Typhoon intake on the PI head swap would make decent HP or would it be a waste? Im just trying to figure out what method is good to go with, I dont have any plans as of yet to go F/I but it may still be a possibility when my motor gets old and I decide to buy a VT longblock lol. Anyways, any info on this would be awesome and again money is somewhat of an issue but not a hge deal, and do you know where I can get a 99+ PI motor for cheap, even brand new?
thanks a bunch guy!!!

go to a junkyard to find your engine. You can probably get one for under a grand.

I'm by no means an authority, but....................from what I've read SVO heads bolt right onto a NPI motor. You might want to check it out.

I would go to a salvage yard and find a pi motor , or just buy some patriot heads for your motor they are priced about the same as the pi head swap kit , the typhoon intake does not really do much for your car, just get a pi intake the intake ports are biger so you get a better flow out of it.

Prices of PI engines have dropped and its definately a good option...but the pi swap is great with the added compression especially if you plan on nitrous later.
