the block is from a F150, heads/intake are from a 97 Cobra
The intake was cutted in half and a spacer is wleded between the intake. This setup is inside a 98 GT so i've removed a 4.6 sohc. |

I'm getting ready to make that same swap, but a have a navigator engine. I'm trying to get all the parts before I get started. Did you flash the computer or are you running a programmer or something?

I used a cobra 97 ECU and wiring harness.
I've buyed a Xcal3 and Steeda.ca tuned it for me. This summer, i'll get a better tune and i'll burn a chip with 125 hp of nitrous and a stock tune. |

That's awesome, I can't wait to get started. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the intake manifold, I would probably ask a machine shop to make some adaptor plates to bolt a lightning supercharger that I already have, but I don't know how hard would that be.
What part of phoenix are you from? I live in the west side of phoenix right next to the I 10. |

If you can get the adaptor for the supercharger, be sure to have your engine internal forged... otherwise you will need to run on low boost ...
When do you think you will begin your swap? If you have any questions, you can contact me ! I'll do my best to help you ! I'm not from Phoenix, i'm living in Quebec, Canada ...

I'll probably start in 2 or 3 months, first I need to pull the engine out of the navi and change all the internals.
If I have any more questions I'll let you know. Thanks |

awesome i finally found a thread where people are in the same stage as me with the swap and goin the same direction with it.
Phoenix did the swap give you any problems? im goin to reuse my b heads and intake off my 96 cobra. i almost have enough money saved to send my intake to mmr to have it widened and probably ported also bc its gonna have to flow more are to fill the cyls. what does the car run like with the b headed 5.4? also did you get k member spacers or just bolt it in? hood clearance issues? czar good luck with the swap keep us up to date. sounds like you got it figured out. should be interesting |
