Help! 1997 GT whining noise at startup.

Ok, I own a FRPP SVO supercharged 97 gt 5-speed. When i start the car whether i'm in gear or neutral, there is a whining noise that sounds like its coming from somewhere in the drivers side dash. (Behind gauges etc.) It only lasts about 15-30 seconds but just wondering if anyone knows what this could be? Thanks for any help!

It's a whine, not a chattering. Can't really tell anything else exept that it only lasts 30 seconds or less...

And i can't tell if its an electrical whine like in my gauges or mechanical...

how do you like the svo supercharger? I am picking up some svo heads tommorow and am thinking about getting one around tax time or sooner if I can sell some other stuff first.

I like it alot. It was actually on the car when i got it, so i'm not sure what they cost. I know FRPP doesn't make them anymore and it is hard to find alot of info on them...

Sweet. If you ever decide to get rid of it let me know, I live in NC too. I am going to try to find one for sale somewhere. I keep checking around but haven't had much luck. I just got the svo heads today. They have less than 500 miles on them and I stole them for $650!!!!
