K&N Air Filter

Did anyone know about some of the K&N Air Filters having a OIL recharge kit? I didn't think you were supposed to put oil on the filters, because the oil will blow back on the MAF, and ruin it. I speak from experience, because I have to change mine tomorrow! lol. Beacuse the person that had my car before me, put it on the car with OIL! I should find him and kick his @$$!

The oil protects from dirt entering the engine, they should be oiled but not enough that oil passes to the MAF. Every one that I've seen from K&N had far top much oil on it.

They come with oil on them, then when they get dirty you clean them and then LIGHTLY re-oil them...keyword being lightly. When i had just a K&N drop in i would oil it and not put it in for atleast 24 hours so it would dry up some.
