btw. is replacing the head gasket part of a normal tune up at a shop? or no?


how much woud it cost? worth it to do it myself? i only have 1 hour and 45 min in autoshop. think thats enough time to change a head gasket?

nope unless you have taken off your intake and heads off like 20times be for. lol it isnt hard its just time consuming.

yeah its normal. when its cool out and the engine hasnt warmed up completely

got that hose on. a little coolant burned off the engine that didn't dry. No big smoke puffs though. burned fast. Uhh. Its 29 degrees F. outside. i revvd the engine and when i ran back to look htere was a considerable amount of smoke. i hope she's aight. wasn't blue, straight white .

I knew that was too easy! well when i turn my car off. there is a rattling noise now... uhh. wtf mate?

starts up fine. the exhaust isn't smoky. wtf! could it be the fan?

Its like. well i turn off the engine and its coming from the engine compartment i think. tomorrow im gonna throw it on the lift and check my catalytic converter.. anything else it coudl be though? . . . avatar.....

yeah just thought you might have loosened something else to make the clamps easier to get to well run it and just listen to what can be ratteling.

its not like. and engine rattle like. low sound. its like. you spin a coin on a counter. and when its stopping it makes that little "row row row" kind of sound. i dont know how to explain it... its like... something is spinning. i dont know.



and for your response. i think ill do it tomorrow. im hella tired.
