smoked taillights

A while ago i was lookin at blacking out my taillights. I purchased some covers and they looked ok but one day one of the covers fell off while i was drivin and got scratched up. I ended up just taken them off but was looking for any alternative to covers that would give me the same look.

well theres a place you can send your tail lights and they smoke them professionally or you can buy the spray and do it your self. or even buy tint and tackle it your self. good luck

This won't help much because you're not looking for chrome but I've seen ebaymotors auctions with smoked lights similar to these, there just weren't any when I went to look for ya:

For around 50100 bucks, I'll probably be getting something similar to these myself, as I have a couple lenses on both sides that are chipped or cracked.

my buddy has a 03 dodge stratus, and the traded the original tail lights to some one with the smoked ones on account of he was returning his to stock. and they look amazing...

And i have seen people try to use window tint on them...looks rediculous...so get the spray on stuff if you do, and if you do tell me where you bought it i cant find it any where

I don't know what it was called but i put some thick window tint like covers on my friends Mach 1 and it looked great. It doesnt feel like that cheap shit either. I will call him later today to figure out where he got it from and if they make it for the sn95's

IMO i think euro tails lights are the ugliest thing for a mustang.... it makes it ..importish.. the only thing that needs to be chrome on the car is engine bay, wheels, and maybe door handles

I'm not sure about the tint but the spray is VHT Niteshades from Summit Racing. It looks great when done right but once you mess up, it ain't coming off easy.
