Horsepower

Can you get about 350 hp out of a non pi motor,like with a supercharger,I have an 1998 Gt with Pi intake,H-pipe,Flowmasters,Cai,adding 410 gears soon.I dont go to the track I just race at the red light when someone pulls up beside me and wants to,I just want to beat that 05 stang beside me,should I supercharge or use Nos.

if you get the right supercharger and other mods, you can get about 350, because i think stock on a 98 GT is around 215..... and with my vorech I wanna say its around 325.... not sure, i have never dyno'ed it

RR 3.2 pulley onto the Vortech, This is with stock heads, cams and headers.

that's my buddys set up on his 98 vert.

Does anyone have just a NOS setup I am wondering how safe the systems are,and if my engine will last,I read an article where they got 306 Hp with a 150 shot of Nos,sounds alot cheaper than a supercharger.The dyno showed 1st run stock gt 205Hp & 277lb torque.With Nos 306Hp and 370# torque.Any advice,what do you think.

it will last with proper fuel and tuning "n20 doesnt blow up cars dumb owners with n20 blow up cars" i ran a 50 shot on a 1.3ltr geo and had no problems so with the right tuning 150 would be fine on a stang

its 225hp, close though

LOL that’s the truth!! The tuners are the worst...3 in my area that are all Vortech dealers and screaming VORTECH at me when i ask them to tune a Procharger setup.

From what I’ve heard if you supercharge a daily driver 4.10 gears maybe too much. Everyone suggests 3.73 if your getting blown.

depends on what kind of driving you are doing to in town or on the highway will change what kind of gears youll want
