PI or NPI

I just bought a 1998 Ford Mustang GT. The thing is the car has some work done to it, some of it makes no sense to me. It has BBK shorty Headers and a 3 in exhaust, undrive pulleys, the usual cold air intake, a new plenum, 70mm tb, and all the usual bolt ons. The thing that kills me is that all this is on a stock motor with a lot of miles. I think, but i am not sure, that this has had a PI head swap. I am not sure. My question is, how do you tell if it is they are PI heads or NPI heads. Thanks.

Yep, there will be a bunch of numbers and then right below it, it will be stamped PI.

+1 on that

also you can check the intake to see if its the right one, and also the oil filler neck will be on the passenger side instead of the driver side on the valve covers... usually... but yeah the PI stamp is the most SURE way to tell if the heads are PI
