supercharge it!

Get lots of bolt ons... CAI with Methanol injection, throttle body, exhaust, new rear axle so it doesn't snap with drag slicks, new gears (4:10), new pulleys, New belts, tune, heads.... probably alittle more..

Welcome to the site first off be sure to check with us before you buy and we'll letcha know if you're makin a good purchase, lol.

Anyways, my 96 cobra ran a 13.99 (yep barely 13 sec car but I'm keeping the timeslip that proves it) and it was stock minus the spare tire being removed. I bet a good pair of drag radials in the back, along with 4.10s and all the boltons typically put on for cheap hp gains and I could flirt with 13 flat.

just be careful not to snap those axles.... that would cost more than getting your car enough power to run a 12

for sure. But our solid rear ends are much better at slightly higher horses than our younger siblings with their IRS setups.. also our rearends are MUCH easier to hookup provided a good driver. And I'd be more concerned about my driveshaft before my rear axles.. and once you're runnin twelves you have to have a loop around it anyways but I'll get there eventually. lol

ok you only need meth injection if the car is boosted. if its not boosted then the meth isnt going to do a damn thing.

ok to put methanol injection on an un supercharged or turbo car would be pointless and a waste of money. just do a cold air form either k&n or jlt. throttle body go with accufab. no need for new axles yet becasue your prob not gonna have the power to snap them. seen people running 11s on stock axles. and for another thing they are reall expensive. about $110 per axle. some stick drag radials such as mickey tompson and also gears. since its a 4v go with 4.10 and maybe even a 4.56. no need for pulleys or new belts. a tune should be done anyways cuz its one of the best mods for the money. itll make the car run better through out the entire rpm range and run smoother and cleaner and faster. no need to do anything to the heads or the cams. you might look into some suspension setups for going in a straightline. prob some tokiko adjustable shocks with eiback sportlines would be fine.

... you crack me up dude.

Mu5t4ng... he's gotta point though, don't waste your money on stuff that does little to no good, especially to a N/A car (unless you have tons of it lol then go for it ). But I'd say for now concentrate on getting your car a nice tune-up, like Dragon mentioned, and once your misfiring problem is taken care of then you're good to go. And have fun and be safe with it might I add... power does you no good unless you're at the track or on the dyno.
