Pilot bearing question
I just put it a new pilot bearing and in the process of putting it in I scratched the crap out of the front of the bearing. I know this just stabilizes the end of the input shaft, but does the face of it do anything? Should I change it or will it be fine??

if you didn't damage the bearing surface you should be ok

you should be fine man. like stated above as long as the bearing isnt messed up its ok.
