PI Swap Problems?

My friend seems to think im going to blow something apart with the 10.5 compression the car will make, any one can verify this or is it safe with stock internals?

gota love those 5.Slow guys, they are quite a crowd

What i dont understand is how that motor makes the power it does with intake ports as small as they are.

only one temp sensor was connected at the time. He now is buying a new pi intake with aluminum crossover and gonna tap it for the second sensor. you think that was the problem?

absolutely, that other sensor sends information to the ECU. The car does not know when its warmed up or cold with out it.

So it will just dump random amounts of fuel into the engine and not turn the fans on at the correct time. The other sensor is just for the gauge

If it let the engine over heat and crack the intake then i would say it did cause the leak

i've personally run my car without the sensor hooked up when i broke it and all it did was make my ac not work and caused my fans to kick on constantly....

as long as one is plugged in it wouldn't overheat.

he's got a coolant leak because he didn't do the swap properly, bottom line

did you guys happen to put the gaskets back into the intake manifold? When you changed the main intake gaskets? were there any o-ring type things lying around?
