SIDE EXHAUST video and pics

Okay, I finally got my side exhaust done after many weeks of research. I've watched countless numbers of clips from youtube and chose the Magnapack setup. It's basically two Magnaflow tube 4" mufflers welded in after the X pipe. And a custom bent 2.5" pipe leading out the side skirts with a tip to end it off. I chose the magnaflows because the "same end same out" style of mufflers didn't sound aggressive enough. Flowmaster only offered an 80 series using this style and spin tech didn't do it for me.

Thanks for the comments, the tips were the hardest to decide on because the Roush tips are nearly $300. I went to my local auto parts store and tried matching the tips they had with my body kit. The double stainless steel fit the best from what they had. So far all I get is thumbs up from drivers. The sound they make bouncing off a car right next to me is unreal. Surprisingly the drone is at a very minimum to almost none. I hear the exhaust but not the drone. My prior mufflers were Dynamax Thrush. The Thrush sound awesome but the drone was brain numbing. This setup cost $170 in parts (including tips) and labor was $105 for a mere $280.

nice i like it too... the tips are eh, but still super sweet man

by the way, did you have an O/R x pipe cut off and then welded the mufflers in? or did you find a short pipe like that somewhere? damn i really like the way it looks underneath there haha

and the sound is really nice, deeper than i would think with an x and those mufflers... sweet idea, i like it when ppl get creative with their stuff

I like it. If you ever put some Seafoam in your car, take a video. That will be cool to see all that smoke coming out of the side. I'm not crazy about the tips, I would have turned the down like ground ponders, but it sounds good.

They had to cut about 3" off the ends of the X pipe and then the tubes were welded on. The over all lenght of the tubes including inlet and outlets are 20"

No reason to spit on my candle for yours to shine. If yours sound good, I'm happy for you. I'm frugal but not cheap. My sytem was done using less than $300. Every time I rev my engine, my lady damn near squirts. So for a one time investment of $300, I get a life time of wet pu$$y!
