nope
your the only one man enough that i have ever met to put a 5.4l motor in your car, but if the compression is similar to the 4.6l which im sure it is id say 10 psi would be safe. Id start with 7-8 and go from there though just to be safe

I always thought 10# on a Stock Mod Motor was to much.

there is differences with the 5.4 and 4.6's. 10lbs of boost is fine, a little more figiving on teh 5.4 as well compared to the 4.6.

i have heard some of the navi motors having forged cranks, but nothing else. and yes, the rods are the item to worry about.

i dont see why you wouldnt be able to do that, 5.4's produce a lot of torque. i am running 11's with a 116 trap in my POS.

In my Expedition I am running 12.5 pounds of boost along with an aftercooler, shorty headers, tune and other mods (except cams and intake) similar to my vert. It is a 5.4 in a 98 with all stock internals.
