It was about a year and a half or so, we all learn from mistakes ... Good choice on going VT, Scott and the guys really have a good program over there...

if you are building a mild street car why not spend the 250-350 and through on a set of pi or even find a set without cams for a littl cheaper and put some cams in yourself with a stang doesnt every little bit help and count

That same power can be made with the right cam on a npi head.

Don't get me wrong the P.I heads have their place.

As you can see I work on P.I heads as well....

yeah thats true but heads are expensive while you can get cams/intake for less than the head itself and net waayyy more.most bang for your bucks.

used PI intake last found about $75shipped
used PI Cams roughly $60-100shipped

while the head costs $300-400 shipped (heavy weight packaging) used and stock coming from a previous '00-'04 mustang.

with that much miles 140k miles, i'd try to find a pi motor for cheap(unless you think your motor is in great condition), junkyard or used at a reasonable price. but if you want performance on your old motor or not enough money, just do PI Cams & PI Intake Manifold (roughly 150-200 for used good condition parts), the heads are really not worth it in my opinion to spend 300-400 for just heads, (not ported/polished) for just 5-10rwhp... unless you have money to spend i'd port/polish my NPI heads than buy a PI head imo.

theres my $0.02
