swapped but won't start

I have a 97 mustang gt that did have a 4.6 and 4R70W, now it has a 5.4 SOHC and a 99 Cobra T-45. It's 95% or more complete. I just have to reconnect the tranny wiring. The question is..it won't start, just to check if it will turn over. I was told there's a neutral safety switch that i need to look at. I found something off of my steering column, a wire that ran to the old gear selector ( park, neutral, reverse) it has a 3 wire connector on it also, is that the neutral safety switch? looking at the haynes manual in the back of the book, there's a schematic of the starting and charging system. at one point it showes the transmission range sensor, that's located on the old tranny, plays apart in the starting of the car. So, if that's not there anymore, what do i need to do? i also replaced the PCM with ford racings 96-97 HP PCM. so the TRS shouldn't play a part in it now, right? any one know?

if it wont start cause of the nss two of those wires put together will bypass the nss and it will start in any gear. Does it turn over?

it won't turn over at all. I think i'll tie the two wires together and if that doesn't work,i'm going to bypass everything so it runs from the ignition to starter

I have seen a navigator motor 5.4 sohc in a stang before had a NOVI 2K strapped to it. Power was in the 600's you should be happy with that motor.

Yeah it was CROWDED in that engine compartment. I have a swap of my own going on right now but it is on a much smaller scale but should be a head turner. V6 to V6S/C from a supercoupe.
