5.4L rebuild parts check
Just making this thread for anyone to help me make sure i got all the parts i need ;>
Going from NPI to NPI stock rering/bearinged bottom and PI top end These are the deals ive found Head Bolts - 45 for all of them new - ebay Heads - 250 w/cams -Salvage- Cams Will be for sale cheap when i get the heads Head Gasket Kit - $101 -Multi-layered steel head gasket/Exhaust manifold gasket/Intake manifold gasket/Valve cover gasket/Viton valve stem seals/Camshaft front/O-rings/Other Small Gaskets - Ebay Rod Bearings - 150 - Summit Fuel Injector Seals - 13 - Summit Main Bearings - 45 - Clevite TM-77's - From Rock Auto Crankshaft Seal - 11 - Fel Pro - Rock Auto Timing Chain kit - 195 - Cloyes - Rock Auto - Crank, Chain (2), Guide (2), Tensioner (2), Tensioner Arm (2) in kit Rings - 60 - Ebay Cam w Springs - XE270 w behives and steel retainers - 820$ Tune - 400 for chip and the tune no matter if it takes 1 hr or 1 week ;> now if anyone can fill me in on anything im missing or where to find any better deals that would be great ;> if someone could price a rering kit with new timing components and main bearings for cheaper let me know ;> so far my rough total just for the rering is 625$ i beleive $1695 w/heads/cams w/o tune and 2100 total after tune probaly 2500 once i add in Hot tanking engine and crank and possibly turn or polish on the crank only paid 158 bucks for the engine and the cylinder walls were excellent but heads were in rough shape and its a 97 block ;> with maybe a total of .001 or so extra bore from ring wear ;> cant even catch the ridge at top of cylinder with a finger nail to give arough idea

The came is 570 on ebay the springs 200 and retainers are 50
if you know someplace cheaper please do let me know
