help air/fuel ratio


my air/fuel ratio on the left bank is 20.7 at idle but gets a little better with more rpms and it has blue/white smoke at idle and low rpms i have a code that says my o2 isnt connected but i checked it and it seems ok and think i have bad exhaust valves dont know what to do??

Blue/whiteish smoke usualy signifies burning oil i think maybe valve stem seals are bad? and maybe 02 is bad also? get a live scan scanner where you can view the o2 readings and see if its sending anything if not its time for a new one

If you are burning oil you can coat the O2 sensors and they will not work right. Typically a car wont idle above about 18:1, and if it does it will barley chug along. I suspect the WO2 has a bad sensor as well. Do a leak down test to see whats up.

i just put the new sensor in about a week ago and i think the wires are crossed on it so im going to take it back and get another but it hasnt smoked like this since i put in the new sensor..
